Nokia 6.1 Plus starts to receive Android 9 Pie beta update

HMD Global has surprised the Nokia 6.1 Plus (Android One) users by releasing the Android 9.0 Pie beta update for them. Juho Sarvikas CPO of HMD Global has officially tweeted this software roll out on his twitter page. Many of them have joined in beta labs and also installed the beta build on their devices. According to that, the android p beta firmware will arrive in the version V3.25B and the OTA size will be in 1258 MB (1.2GB). The screenshot also reveals the some android pie features like revamped settings menu, new system navigation, enhanced notification features, added adaptive battery power to track most used apps, new adaptive brightness level and some UI tweaks and bug fixes. Along with these features, the firmware also carries October month android security patch for this device.

As the file is very large, so use WiFi network to download this OTA file without any interrupt. Before upgrading your android version, we recommend the users to backup you all files to avoid data loss. In certain situations users may feel that they want to go back or downgrade to previous version (i.e. android oreo), that can also be possible but that will erase all records from your device.
