Nokia X71 with In-Display camera officially unveiled

For the past few weeks we’ve seen lots of rumours about the Nokia X71 handset, even the schematic diagram also appeared in online. Today HMD owned Nokia has put an end to those rumors by officially introduced this handset in Taiwan region. It’s the first time Nokia has launched its X series device outside of China. Of course it’s the first the smartphone from Nokia that feature In-Display camera. Right now this handset has been listed at Nokia Taiwan site and reveals the full specifications.

Nokia X71 consists of 6.39-inch PureDisplay with FHD+ screen and the front and back are surrounded 2.5D glass. It runs on android 9 pie os with Pure Android, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and octa core processor. Available memory options are 6GB RAM, 128GB onboard storage and also support expandable storage up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

Moving to back, it has triple camera lens 48MP + 8MP + 5MP and the main camera (48MP) has been certified by ZIESS. The front camera has been embedded within the display at top left corner. Other connectivity features are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Fingerprint, Face Unlock, 4G with dual Volte, Type-C USB Nokia OZO 360 degree sound and more. It fueled with 3500 mAh battery which compatible with 18W fast charging. The available color option is Black.

Nokia X71 handset will go on sale in Taiwan from April 30 onwards and the launch price will be 11,990 TWD (Rs. 26,900 / $388 USD). For this price range some smartphones offers in-display fingerprint sensor, but Nokia X71 doesn’t have that feature. Rumour claims the Nokia X71 may launch as Nokia 6.2 for global market, but there is no word about the exact time frame.
