Finally HMD Global has begun to push the Android 9 Pie update for its budget device Nokia 3.1 Plus, which was launched on October 2018. Actually the company has scheduled to release this update on January 2019, because of some bugs they were roll out this update a month later. Juho Sarvikas (CPO of HMD) has officially confirmed this firmware roll out on his twitter page. The software update has started to land on many devices and some users have posted the screenshot on twitter.
According to report, the android pie update for nokia 3.1 plus weighs around 1182.2 MB (1.1 GB) and also brings the new software version V2.230. They were rolling out this firmware update in phases via OTA, so not everyone will receive the update at the same time. Before upgrading your device, back up your files and charge the battery level above 50 percent to avoid installation errors.
Android Pie for Nokia 3.1 Plus features new gesture navigation, revamped settings menu, notification related enhancement, adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, app actions and so on. Along with these features it will also install the February month android security patch on this device.
