Nokia 6.1 Plus global edition of X6 officially unveiled

After lot of leaks and rumors, HMD Global has finally brings the Nokia X6 smartphone to global market. As per the early leaks, the global variant of Nokia X6 will be called as Nokia 6.1 Plus Android One. The Hong Kong will be first region to get this global edition. The buy price of Nokia 6.1 Plus will be HK$ 2288 (Rs. 20,070) and the sale will start from July 24 onwards.

However the manufacturer didn’t convey when this android one device will hit other markets, especially India and USA. HMD Global may schedule an event in the upcoming weeks and announce the availability for other countries.

Apart from the device name, hardware specs and design are similar to both devices. To recap, the Nokia 6.1 Plus features 5.8-inch top notch display with FHD+ (2280 x 1080) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 95% of body are protected by corning gorilla glass 3, running on stock version of android 8.1 oreo os (upgradeable to Android P), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and 1.8 GHz octa core processor.

At back it has 16MP + 5MP dual main camera lens and at front it houses 16MP selfie camera. This handset sports face unlock and a back mounted fingerprint sensor which makes the device more secure. Other preloaded options are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, dual sim with dual 4G VoLTE, GPS and more. It packed with decent battery capacity 3060 mAh and support Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It will be available in two colors blue and white.
