Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact unlocked goes for sale in USA

Sony has rolled out the two flagship smartphones Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact in USA. The unlocked versions of both smartphones are now available at amazon USA retailer. The price of Z5 and Z5 Compact unlocked models in USA are $599.99 and $499.99. It is also available at other retailers like Best buy and B&H. As per the earlier rumors, the U.S variant of Z5 and Z5 compact mobiles are not having fingerprint sensor. This will be major drawback in these two smartphones. But we can expect they may unlock the fingerprint feature later with android 6.0 marshmallow update.

The Z5 has 5.2-inch FHD (1080p) display while Z5 compact has 4.6-inch HD (720p) display. Both smartphones are comes with TRILUMINOS and X-Reality technology for display. The z5 equipped with 3GB RAM but the compact version has 2GB RAM. There will be 32GB internal storage and expandable microSD card slot for both devices. The battery capacity for z5 is 2900 mAh where z5 compact has 2700 mAh. Other features of both z5 and z5 compact are qualcomm snapdragon 810 chipset, octa core processor, android 5.1 lollipop os, 23MP back camera, 5MP selfie camera, 4K video recording, IP65/68 dust and water resistant, Cat6 4G speed, wifi, NFC, bluetooth and more.

The z5 will be available in gold, green, graphite black and white colors. But the z5 compact comes in graphite black, coral, yellow and white colors.
