Sony Xperia 1 up for preorder in UK at £849

At MWC 2019 event, Sony has introduced Xperia 1 premium smartphone with 21:9 cinematic wide screen. Unfortunately they didn’t reveal any info about the pricing and availability of this device. Now the Clove retailer in UK has started to accept the preorder of Xperia 1 and also confirmed the release date for UK. This listing reveals the launch price of unlocked unit in UK as £849 (inc VAT). Sadly the fans must have to wait until May end to get this handset in your hands. They’ve listed the Xperia 1 device in four color options Black, Grey, Purple and White.

Sony’s Xperia 1 comes with 6.5-inch 4K HDR (3840 x 1644) display and also introduced new aspect ratio 21:9 called as CinemaWide Screen. It will be pre-installed with android 9 pie os and uses custom Sony skin on top. This handset will be powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 top-end chipset and octa core processor clocks at 2.84 GHz. It arrives in single variant 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage, you can also expand the memory up to 512GB via microSD card.

For the first time, Sony uses triple back cameras 12MP + 12MP + 12MP and it allow users to record 4K HDR movie, 21:9 video recording, Super slow motion videos (960 fps), 2x optical zoom and so on. It also has 8MP selfie camera at front which features 3D creator, portrait selfie effects, steady shot and more. Other preloaded features are Fingerprint sensor, NFC, Type-C USB (3.1), WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, IP65/68 water & dust proof, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, 4G with Cat19 (1.2 Gbps) download speed and so on. It packed with 3330 mAh battery which compatible with Qi wireless and quick charging.
