Everyone one is looking for December security update, but just now Sony has begun to push the November month security patch. This security update is now rolling out for Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact devices. According to the source, both handsets are receiving this software update with same build number 47.2.A.2.33. Few days back, Sony has rolled out this same build number for Xperia XZ Premium flagship handset.
The screenshot reveals they were rolling out this security update via OTA in batchwise. This security update weighs little bit huge 250.6MB. Apart from the November patch, it didn’t bring any new features and also note this device is already running on Android 9 Pie OS. Usually the OTA roll out will vary by regions, so it could take some time to reach all devices. If you own any of this device, try to check for the software update manually from Settings menu. If it’s available for your device download and follow the installation steps, otherwise you need to wait for the automatic OTA prompt.
