Sony Xperia XZ3 officially unveiled at IFA 2018 event

IFA 2018 is now happening in Berlin and all manufacturers have participated and showcased their new inventions like smartphones, laptops, robotics and other smart products. In this event, today Sony mobile has also presented their new flagship device Xperia XZ3 (successor of Xperia XZ2). The company has also revealed the pricing and availability of this handset at this event. Lets see the specs of Xperia XZ3 device and think whether you are going to buy or not.

Sony Xperia XZ3 features 6-inch OLED display with QHD+ (2880 x 1440) resolution, HDR display, 18:9 aspect ratio, Dynamic contrast enhancer and Triluminos display. Both front and back part of this device covered with 5th gen of Corning Gorilla Glass. It will be the first smartphone in mobile industry that comes with Android 9.0 Pie as pre-installed OS. It’s a high-end device, so they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 top-end chipset and octa processor. Coming to memory, it has 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage (UFS) and also compatible with expandable memory via microSD card (up to 512GB).

This handset has 19MP Motion Eye camera at back which can capable to record 4K HDR movie, Super slow motion video 960 fps (FHD/HD), Sony G Lens, Steady shot, Tri-image sensing technology, ISO 12800 low light photo and so on. It also has 13MP front-mounted selfie camera that also supports steady shot and low light photo or videos. Other preloaded features are Fingerprint, NFC, Face Unlock, 3D Creator, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, Type-C USB 3.1 (5Gbps), 4G LTE with 1.2 Gbps download speed, IP65/68 water resistant, dynamic vibration and more.

Talking about power, it packed with 3330 mAh battery that compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. The premium flagship device arrives in four optional colors – Black, Bordeaux Red, Forest Green and Silver White. The launch price of Xperia XZ3 will be £699 pounds (64550 INR / $910 USD). Sony will start the global roll out of Xperia XZ3 device at the end of September 2018. Initially this handset will be available for selected regions and it will expand to other regions shortly.
