Sony Xperia T gets the Android Jelly Bean update

Sony has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to its Xperia T in Europe. The Android 4.1 jelly bean update is available for users in countries like Germany, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and others. The update is being made available just a day after it appeared on the PTCRB website and was certified and a week after an alpha version was released.

 The update version number is 9.1.A.0.489. The update includes Google Now, Project Butter, menu settings, new-look notifications and improved notifications with Sony's own changes. The update for other countries may be rolled out shortly. The update also brings improvements in the camera application, lock screen and dialer.
