Research In Motion’s (RIMM) big BlackBerry 10 unveiling later this month. The company’s official, RIM’s Donny Halliwell announced that RIM will hold a launch event for BlackBerry 10 on January 30th, 2013. The related press conferences will take place in multiple countries simultaneously and specific launch dates for the first round of BlackBerry 10 smartphones will be announced during the event. A statement from RIM CEO Thorsten Heins follows below:

A Rogers training manual leaked earlier on Wednesday and now Techradar has secured slides that reveal all of the key specifications for RIM’s first full-touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
According to the leaked slides, the BlackBerry Z10′s display will measure 4.2-inch in size and with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. That’s high-resolution for a BlackBerry smartphone. BlackBerry Sports with 2 GB RAM and internal memory of 16 GB with microSD card slot for expanded storage. BlackBerry 10 equipped with a front facing camera of 2Megapixels, which offers 2x digital zoom and 720p video recording and Rear camera with 8MP snapper with single LED flash, auto focus, 1080p video recording and 5x digital zoom. It also has NFC support, GPS, Bluetooth and access to 4G with 1,800 mAh battery.
