BlackBerry Key2 spec sheet leaked ahead of launch

As we know BlackBerry has scheduled an event in New York on June 7 (i.e. tomorrow) to unveil the new android smartphone BB KEY2. It’s the successor version of BB KEYone which was launched on April 2017. According to the earlier rumors, the BB KEY2 will sport the same qwerty keypad and touch classic design (like its predecessor). Today we came up with specification / data sheet (thanks to evleaks) of BlackBerry KEY2, which confirms the full specs of device. The latest leak also reveals the launch price of KEY2 as $649 (US Dollars), €649 (Euros), £579 (GB) and $829 (CA).

Let’s see the full specs of BB KEY2 in detail,  this handset features 4.5-inch FHD (1620 x 1080) IPS display with 3:2 aspect ratio and also protected by 3rd gen of corning gorilla glass at front. As per the data sheet this device runs on Android 8.1 oreo os and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and octa core processor.

Coming to memory, this handset will launch in two variants - 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Both models are having microSD card slot (may be hybrid slot) which can be expandable up to 256GB. It sports 8MP selfie camera at front, which can able to record 1080p videos.

At back, it has dual camera modules 12MP + 12MP which supports 4K video recording, scan, private capture, dual PDAF focus and more. Other preloaded connectivity options are fingerprint (embedded within space bar), NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, 4G LTE, BlackBerry apps and more. Talking about power, this handset has 3500 mAh battery which can standby for a day. Previous leaks suggests the KEY2 will arrive in two colors black and grey or silver.
