BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X officially debuted in India

Today BlackBerry has unveiled two new android smartphones in India which are named as Evolve and Evolve X. It will be first time that BlackBerry has scheduled to start the initial roll out from Indian market. These smartphone are designed by BlackBerry and Optiemus partnership and report suggests it has been made in India.

Both Evolve and Evolve X handsets will be available in India as amazon exclusive. The company has also revealed the launch price of BB Evolve as Rs. 24,990 and BB Evolve X as Rs. 34,990. The manufacturer will roll out the Evolve X handset at the end of August, while the Evolve device will be on sale from mid-September. Both handsets will arrive only in Black color.

While comparing specifications of Evolve and Evolve X, both are having some identical feature, but not all. Both Evolve and Evolve X comes with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, protected by corning gorilla glass 5, dual sim slot and running on android 8.1 oreo os. The high-end Evolve X equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, octa core processor and 6GB of RAM.

But the BB Evolve device consists mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, octa core processor and RAM memory has been downgraded to 4GB. Both handsets houses 64GB of internal storage and an expandable microSD card slot (up to 2TB).

Coming to camera, the mid-range Evolve comes with 13MP + 13MP dual main cameras, while the Evolve X device sports 12MP + 13MP dual camera lens. Both handsets have 16MP front-facing camera for perfect selfies. BlackBerry is familiar for secured smartphones to make security more stronger they’ve added fingerprint sensor located at back.

Other features are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, Dolby Atmos (for Evolve X), OTG, 4G VoLTE and so on. Both handsets are powered by 4000 mAh non-removable battery and support Quick Charge 3.0 technology. For the first time Blackberry has introduced wireless charging technology and it will be compatible only with Evolve X model.
