BlackBerry Z10 gets its first update and brings 5 improvements

BlackBerry Z10 is the first smartphone powered by the BlackBerry 10 Operating system. Blackberry has released the first update for BlackBerry 10 operating system. The BlackBerry Z10 update is available through OTA (over-the-air).

BlackBerry Z10 OS Update with 5 Improvements

The update 10.0.10.85 around 150MB and improve the smartphone performance, battery life, low-light camera capabilities, etc. Top 5 changes in the official change log is

 App Performance - 3rd party applications has been improved. Developers can build apps that run fast and smooth. The update provides new application WhatsApp that will be launched in March.

Phone, Calendar, and Contacts - Fixes for Gmail calendars on BlackBerry 10. BlackBerry Hub also improved for logging calls log and how conversations are handled.  Importing contacts from online sources also improved.

Camera – The camera was optimized for better photos in low-light situations. The Difference makes for photos where no need to use a flash – like the Time Shift Camera feature.

Browser and Media - BlackBerry Z10 gorgeous screen to consume online videos and media. Software in the way the browser handles video playback to provide a fantastic experience has been improved.

Battery Life - Number of battery life optimizations with over 60 battery saving improvements has been added, since launch to keep you moving. These combined improvements are designed that makes improvements in battery life and heavy users especially should see a longer average usage per charge cycle.

Software update is available through over the air (OTA). You can manually check for the update available by your service provider and install it in a few simple steps. Settings> Software Updates> Check for Updates> — then follow the on screen steps to install.
