OnePlus is now rolling out new software update for OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphone users. This software news had surprised the OnePlus 3/3T owners, because they didn’t any receive updates for the past few months. This latest update will arrive as OxygenOS 5.0.7 and it’s a stable release. What’s new within this update ? It brings the November 2018 security patch, adds OnePlus Type-C bullets Earphones compatibility and bug fixes.
OnePlus has also updated this changelog at their official forum page. Many users have started to receive this software update and shared the screenshots on this forum page. The screenshot confirms it will not make any change to android version and it will stay at 8.0.0. It also reveals that the update will come as OTA and it weighs in small 71 MB.
If you own any of this device, then switch on your WiFi and wait for the automatic OTA prompt. Because of phase roll out, the firmware update may take some time to land on all device. In this case, you can manually check for the update from Settings menu.
