Recent survey reveals that most of the users prefer OnePlus smartphone for premium segment. They were reached this level by offering the quality design, reasonable price and providing regular software updates. Today the manufacturer has released new OxygenOS based software update for OnePlus 6 and 6T handsets. They were rolling out this stable update for everyone and it will arrive as Oxygen OS 9.0.12 for OnePlus 6T and 9.0.4 for OnePlus 6.

OnePlus has also published the changelog of this latest software update on their official forum. It confirms the update doesn’t bring any features, it will just install the security patch and perform bug fixes. You can refer the changelog of OnePlus 6 and 6T below.

OnePlus 6 and 6T Oxygen OS 9.0.4 and 9.0.12 updates

Oxygen OS 9.0.4 / 9.0.12 Changelog:

System

- Installs the January month android security patch

- Google Duo deeper integration

OnePlus has announced this software roll out just now, so it will take some time to reach all devices. Surely the company will push this firmware update as OTA in stages. If you own any of these two devices, go to settings menu and check for software update manually whether it’s available or not. We can expect the download size will be in small size, because it doesn’t bring any major updates.
