HTC One X Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update with Sense 4+

The HTC One X was first shipped with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) software and later on upgraded with Android 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1 and now getting its latest 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update and the update is available for CID_038 or CID_044 versions of the device. HTC One X users of countries like India, Argentina, UK, Russia, Dominic Republic, Peru, Brazil and Sri Lanka can receive this update. The software update is expected to reach other countries gradually. Taiwanese tech titan has confirmed  that the update was released for all phones in Asia and Europe. Several users having unlocked One X phones reportedly confirmed via Twitter that they have received the Jelly bean update.

The update requires user to download a 1.6MB file like 4.1 update then get 364.54MB Jelly Bean update which brings Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and Sense 4+. If users those who not receive the update through Over The Air(OTA) notification, then they get update manually by using settings like Settings  > About  > Software updates  > Check now.   

As seen in the screenshot provided by Android Authority, the software brings HTC Sense 4+, new landing page and event/map view in the gallery as well as improved battery management and enhanced UI with better performance in camera. The mid-range HTC One S of HTC is still waiting for its software update to Jelly Bean, we hope it will get it soon before end of the year.
