HTC Desire 10 Pro and 10 Lifestyle mobiles officially announced

As per the schedule today HTC has revealed the two flagship smartphones in Desire 10 series at a live event. The new handsets are named as Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 lifestyle. It can also be called as successor of HTC 10 which was released in May 2016. These two models have thin gold colored metal outlines and 7.7/7.86 mm slim design. The desire 10 pro is the high end version while the desire 10 lifestyle will launch as mid-ranger.

Desire 10 Pro:

The desire 10 pro has 5.5-inch display with 1080p screen resolution. The screen is also protected with corning gorilla glass. It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os later it may receive android 7.0 nougat upgrade. It equipped with octa core processor and mediatek helio p10 chipset.

It comes in two variants - 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both models have microSD card (up to 2TB) support. It has 20MP main camera with laser autofocus and 13MP selfie camera with ultra-self time mode. It includes fingerprint/selfie key, NFC, Wifi (dual band), HTC BoomSound, dual nano sim slot, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE (Cat6), HTC Connect and more features. It loaded with 3000 mAh non-removable battery which can standby for 20 days.

Desire 10 Lifestyle:

Another one is desire 10 lifestyle which comes with 5.5-inch Super LCD display and HD (720p) downgraded screen resolution. It sports android 6.0 marshmallow os, 1.6 GHz quad core processor and qualcomm snapdragon processor (instead of mediatek). It also comes in two storage models – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. It also supports microSD card which can be expandable up to 2TB.

The back and front camera options are 13MP and 5MP. This mid-range mode doesn’t have fingerprint sensor and laser autofocus features. Other connectivity options are NFC, wifi (2.4 GHz), bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE (Cat4), dual nano sim slot, HTC Connect, 24-bit Hi-Fi audio, GPS and more. It houses 2700 mAh non-removable battery with 28 days of standby time.

Both handsets will be available in Gorgeous Black, British Blue, Mint Green and Muse White. The desire 10 lifestyle is already up for preorder in Taiwan via HTC official store. The price of 32 GB storage model is NT$ 7,990 ($254 USD or Rs. 17,070). They will start the shipping of this product on September 23. Within this September it will reach UK for £249 pounds (3GB RAM). The roll out of desire 10 pro will start in November 2016. Price and other details will be unveiled later.
