HTC Bolt with 16MP camera goes official in US

Finally HTC has officially released the earlier rumored flagship smartphone HTC Bolt in USA. This smartphone is exclusive to Sprint carrier so you can’t expect other carrier network support for now. The handset is now listed at HTC official and Sprint Wireless online stores. This mobile has full metal body design and IP57 water & dust resistant protection. It will be available in two colors - Gun Metal and Glacier Silver.

The full retail price of HTC Bolt mobile at Sprint & HTC store is $600. Optionally the user can buy this mobile at contract and installment price via Sprint official site. If you have a good credit then 24-months installment requires $0 as down pay and balance must be paid as $25 per month. The carrier also listed the Online only offer with that the user can save $120 instantly. This plan needs eligible upgrade and $20 as monthly payment for 24-months without any upfront cost. The contract plan (24-months) priced at $199.99 (after mail-in rebate offer).

The htc bolt features 5.5-inch 2K display with 2.5D curved corning gorilla 5 protection. It comes with new android 7.0 nougat os and HTC Sense UI. Coming to performance it equipped with qualcomm snapdragon 810 chipset and 2.0 GHz octa core processor. Today most of the high-end smartphones are uses qualcomm snapdragon 820/821 chipset, but still HTC using the older chipsets for their mobiles. It comes in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device also sports dedicated microSD slot which can be expandable up to 2TB.

The handset main camera is 16MP which includes PDAF sensor, OIS sensor, 4K video recording, Zoe capture, Slow motion video and more features. It also has 8MP selfie camera which features voice selfie, screen flash, low light mode, wide angle selfie, auto HDR and more. They have placed the fingerprint sensor (unlock in 0.2s) at the front.

As per the earlier leaks this handset doesn’t have 3.5 mm headphone jack alternatively it uses Type-C port for headsets. It preloaded with NFC, bluetooth 4.1, wifi with dual band, DLNA, AirPlay, Type-C USB, HTC BoomSound, Sprint carrier apps and more. It has built-in 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology and extreme power saving mode support.
