AT&T HTC one X Jelly bean update rolled out

Those who have waited many months for the update of AT&T HTC One X come to end now. AT&T announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for HTC One X. European HTC One X got the Jelly Bean update three months before and Asian HTC One X got the jelly bean update Four months before. The update will be available over-the-air (OTA). The Wi-Fi connection is required for the update.

The Update change log is Google Now, which provides latest information like checking weather, checking flight information, tracking a package or more. Changes to the notification display that groups updates from the same application together and allows you to expand or collapse any notification. To view the full text of an SMS message and the full photo of a MMS in the notification window has been improved. An event notifications display that offers event description, relevant details without having to open an app. New countdown timer for the front-facing camera also added.

AT&T HTC One X will be updated with Sense UI 5.0. Check the settings menu and go to the ‘About Phone,' and tap 'Check for Updates' to see if the update has rolled out or not. Update also includes some of the new apps from AT&T, including AT&T Locker, AT&T DriveMode and AT&T Messages. AT&T Locker is Dropbox allowing users to store photos videos and documents in the cloud. AT&T DriveMode helps drivers curb their texting while driving habits and AT&T Messages combine your texts, calls and voicemails in one inbox.
