Xiaomi has surprised the Indian users by rolling out the MIUI 10 Global stable build for Redmi Y2 owners. It’s the first smartphone in India to receive the MIUI 10 update and the fans are excited about this software update. This handset was first released in India on June 2018, at initial launch it has been pre-installed with MIUI 9.5 version. Xiaomi has officially updated the changelog on forum page and some users have shared the screenshot on their discussions.
This latest firmware update will arrive as OTA and also bump the MIUI version to MIUI V10.0.1.0.OEFMIFH. This major OTA update weighs in 501 MB, so use WiFi connection to download it faster. What’s new in MIUI 10 ? It brings several new features like revamped user interface (UI), full screen gesture, newly design volume sliders, natural sound system, major revamp in system apps, AI portrait mode for single camera devices and still more changes are there.
Along with these features, it also installs the August 2018 security patch on this device. Still you didn’t received the automatic OTA don’t worry, you can download the official Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM and install it on your device. As well as, follow the instructions properly for successful installation of MIUI 10.
