November security patch rolling out to Galaxy Note 9, S7, A5 (2017), S6

Samsung has released new security software update for its flagship smartphones. This latest firmware will update the android security patch of this device to November 2018. The following list of devices are now getting this November update - Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy A5 (2017). All these devices are receiving this update different regions, not in the same region.

For Galaxy Note 9 the security roll out is now happening in US and Bulgaria regions, while Galaxy S7 and A5 (2017) are getting this update in UK and Canada. Last one Galaxy S6, the security update is now available in Taiwan and Hong Kong regions.

November Security Patch For Samsung Phones

The galaxy s6 will receive this update in two software versions G9200ZHU2ERK2 (Hong Kong) and G9208ZTU2ERK2 (Taiwan). For Note 9 the update arrives in two versions M1AJQ.N960USQS1ARJ9 and N960FXXS2ARK2. The software version for Galaxy S7 will be in G930FXXU3ERJE and for Galaxy A5 (2017) the update comes in A520WVLU5CRJ3.

Apart from the security patch, the update will also tweaks the system stability and boosts the system performance. All these devices will receive this software update as OTA in batch-wise. Use WiFi or mobile data connection to download and install this software update. Soon the Samsung will reveal the global availability of this security update.
