The LTE version of the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet has been released by Samsung in its native South Korea, then the launch is limited for now to Korea only which is bad news for tablet lovers. More countries are expected to pick up the hyper-connected slates in the coming months, including the United States by the end of the year. The tablet is available from three Korean carriers (SK Telecom, KT and LG U+) and with the inclusion of LTE connectivity comes Vo LTE, Voice over LTE, which allows voice calls to be carried over an operator's LTE pipeline and flavored with Android 4.1: Jelly Bean.
The tablet is a 10.1-inch tablet with a several of the features on the tablet are also available on the Samsung GALAXY Note II such as Air View which allows you to hover over the screen with the S Pen to get a preview of videos and email, and multiwindow which allows you to divide the screen in two for multitasking and Easy Clip. The tablet is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variations.
The release does mention that owners of the 3G and Wi-Fi versions of the tablet will receive upgrades later this year. Samsung is expected to offer wider distribution of the tablet by the end of the year, including a launch in the U.S.
