Realme U1 goes official in India, price starts from Rs.11,999

Realme (sub-brand of Oppo) one of the leading mobile brand has introduced a new mid-range smartphone in India under its all new ‘U ‘series. They were named this new arrival as Realme U1 and also done this launch through live streaming event. Realme says, it will be first smartphone in world that could arrive with recently announced Mediatek Helio P70 chipset. As expected, the Realme U1 will be exclusive available to buy from amazon retailer.

Realme U1 comes with 6.3-inch FHD+ Dewdrop notch display and it covers 90.8% of screen to body ratio. It will be pre-installed with android 8.1 oreo os and uses custom Color OS 5.2 UI. As mentioned above, this handset houses Mediatek Helio P70 Chipset and octa core processor. This handset comes in two variants 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB and further you can expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card (dedicated slot).

Let’s talking about camera, it has dual main cameras 13MP + 2MP at back that features slow motion video, AI camera, studio-quality portrait lighting, Super Vivid mode 2.0 and so on. It also has 25MP selfie camera at front that includes Sony IMX576 sensor, f2.0 aperture, AI Beauty+, Multi-frame noise reduction and more. Stepping down to the rear camera, you can see the dedicated fingerprint key that can unlock you device even more quicker.

Other features are WiFi, bluetooth 4.2, face unlock (0.1s), dual nano sim slot, GPS, 4G LTE, Gaming mode and more are there. This handset packed with 3500 mAh non-removable battery and it supports 5V/2A fast charging technology. It will be available in three different color options Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and Fiery Gold.

Realme U1 will go for its first sale in India from December 5 at amazon online retailer. They’ve revealed the launch price of 3GB + 32GB as Rs.11,999 and for 4GB + 64GB as Rs.14,499. This handset is eligible to get launch offers like SBI Cashback (5%), No Cost EMI and additional data from Jio.
