Realme has officially entered the Chinese market by launching new Realme X smartphone. It’s the first smartphone from Realme brand that sporting Pop-up selfie camera for the budget price. Within a year this manufacturer has sold millions of devices in India and other countries. Recently they were also launched Realme 3 Pro in India which gives tough competition to Redmi Note 7 Pro device, of course it’s the best alternative for Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Realme X features 6.53-inch FHD+ notch-less display, stylish 3D gradient color design on back and protected by 5th gen corning gorilla glass on front and back. It runs on android 9 pie with ColorOS 6, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset (like Realme 3 Pro) and octa core processor clocks at 2.2 GHz. It arrives in three variants 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB, also include expandable memory slot. The 8GB + 128GB variant will be available only for Master Edition (special edition).
Coming to camera, it houses 48MP + 5MP dual camera setup at back that features 4K video recording, super slow motion video (720p @ 960fps), Sony sensor, super night mode and so on. At front it has 16MP pop-up selfie camera which uses Sony IMX471 sensor (like OnePlus 7) and also includes drop protection mechanism and sapphire glass lens protection.
Unlike Realme 3 Pro, this handset comes with most expected In-Display fingerprint sensor feature. Other preloaded features are dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD support, dual nano sim slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Type-C USB, dace unlock and more are bundled in this device. Talking about battery, it fueled with 3765 mAh battery that compatible with VOOC 3.0 fast charge. Available color options are gradient blue, steam white, and onion & white garlic finish.
Realme has also revealed the pricing and release date of Realme X for Chinese market. According to the report, Realme X will be available to buy through online retailers in China from May 20 onwards. Also check the launch price of Realme X for all variants.

Along with this device, they’ve also another handset in China called as Realm X Lite or Youth Edition (rebranded version of Realme 3 Pro). Except the name, they didn’t make any changes in specifications. It will be available in two colors Blue and Purple. It will also release in China on May 20 and the price starts from 1199 yuan.
We can expect the Realme X announcement could happen in India before the end of May 2019, tipped by Madhav Sheth (CEO) on Realme 3 Pro launch event.
