Realme 1 to get ColorOS 5.2 stable update from Nov 29

Few months back, Oppo has announced the new sub-brand in Indian region and called as Realme. Within a short period of time this sub-brand have shipped more number of device quantities and also growing faster in India. Recently the company has started the official community forum and assured about the release of software updates for their range of devices. They were also recruited the beta testers for Realme 1 device and many users have joined in this beta program.

Now the Madhav Sheth (CEO of Realme) has revealed the stable roll out of ColorOS 5.2 for Realme 1 handset via twitter page. The realme 1 users can expect this Android 8.1 Oreo based Color OS 5.2 software update on November 29 (i.e. Thursday) and of course it will arrive as OTA. This latest update will improve the bokeh quality of front camera and remove the yellow status bar blinking and ongoing notification in various mode issue.

Along with these tweaks, the update brings new feature called Smart Bar, which will let the users to transfer files, multi-tasking, take screenshots and reply to messages. Other features included within this update are headset icon in status bar, notification dismiss with single swipe, solves developer option flashing issue. Apart from this it may also install the latest security patch and fixes the known bugs.

If you own this device, you need to wait until Thursday to receive the software update. Probably they will push this OTA update in stages, which means it will take some time to reach all devices. Earlier Realme has confirmed the existence of Android 9.0 Pie update for Realme 1 device. But sadly they didn’t reveal the exact release of this update, but the report claims they may start the beta test from Q1 of 2019.
