Verizon releases security patch update for Moto Z and Moto Z Force

Back in July 2016, Verizon wireless has exclusively unveiled Droid editions of Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones for USA. Now the carrier rolled out a minor software update to these handsets. The software version of this update will be MCLS24.246-36-3. This firmware will update the android security patch version up to date. It will also fix bugs and boost the performance of this device.

They have also released the security patch update to the following samsung smartphones - galaxy note 5, galaxy s6 edge and galaxy s6 edge+. The software versions for s6 edge and s6 edge+ mobiles are MMB29K.G920VVRS4CPI2 and MMB29K.G928VVRS3BPI1. The galaxy note 5 carries the MMB29K.N920VVRS3BPI1 software version.

If you bought the above mentioned devices from verizon carrier then you will get update notification soon. The carrier will send the security patch update through OTA. So stay with the wifi connection and also charge your battery above 50% to avoid issues.
