Android Pie update now hitting Moto X4 in India

Back in August, Lenovo owned Motorola has confirmed the arrival of Android Pie update for its range of devices including Moto X4. However, the manufacturer didn’t mention the exact availability of this update. Now Motorola has started to push most expected Android 9 Pie (soak test) software update for Moto X4 device. Currently the firmware update is available to download for Indian units and some users are reporting that it’s a soak test.

This latest software update arrives with new build number PPW29.69-7 and it will bump the android version to 9.0. The download size of Android Pie for Moto X4 will be in 1.15 GB, so use recommended connection like WiFi for download. Android 9.0 Pie features adaptive battery, app actions, new gesture navigation, app slices, Digital wellbeing, dark theme mode, adaptive brightness and more are there.  Users who already enrolled their device to beta program are currently receiving this update. Once the soak test is success, the company will roll out the android pie stable build to everyone.
