Nougat Update now hitting Moto Z Play in Brazil and India

Motorola started to push the Nougat 7.0 software upgrade for Moto Z Play handset. The firmware is now available for download in Brazil and Indian markets. The software version of this new update is NPN25.137-15-2. The full changelog of this firmware are updated at official site. The approximate download size will be 1.1GB. Along with this it will also bump the android security patch level to January 2017.

The nougat for moto z play includes multi-window feature, new work mode, notification direct reply, data saver, enhanced doze mode, customizable quick settings icons, new emojis, call screening, Moto Mods support updates, fingerprint screen lock, enabled Moto display landscape mode and more features. Unfortunately the update didn’t bring Daydream VR support for this device. Earlier Nougat beta update shows the Daydream compatibility but the stable update eliminates this feature.

Maintain the device battery level minimum 50% and also connect your device to wifi network to receive the OTA update. If the notification hits your device then download and follow the installation procedures that shown on your screen. For manual update checking head into Settings > About phone > System updates. Moto will also roll out this Nougat update to U.S on next month.
