Motorola ELECTRIFY M gets Jelly Bean update for US Cellular

The Motorola Electrify M is available on U.S. Cellular from November onwards, which runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and now Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade is rolling out to MOTOROLA ELECTRIFY M.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean offers new features and apps that make your life simpler. With features like Google Now, Voice Search and better notifications, all of your key information is at your fingertips. Motorola ELECTRIFY M can deliver sports scores, stock updates, weather reports and traffic updates via Google Now. Better Notifications allow ownersto call or text someone back right from your missed call notification. Using Voice Search, owners get a spoken response back or search results that answer their query.

Owners of the Motorola Electrify M will receive an on-device notification about the update through OTA (Over-The-Air) when the update is ready for them, and then they will be able to download it over Wi-Fi. Before that make sure that the phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

To get update, follow the steps given below

  • Go to Settings
  • Select About Phone
  • From About Phone select System Updates
  • Select OK and follow the on screen prompts
