Moto Z2 Play Feb 2018 Security Patch Update

Right now the Indian units of Moto Z2 Play are running on Nougat 7.1.1 version, so it’s a nougat based update. Coming to present, the february patch brings new build number for Moto Z2 Play NPSS26.118-19-22. This security firmware weighs in small size 74.2 MB and will be available through OTA. You can use either wifi or mobile data to download this OTA file. Along with this security patch, it will also boost the system stability and fixes the known bugs.

If you hold the Moto Z2 Play Indian variant, then you’re eligible to receive this software update. Sometime the automatic OTA roll out may delay to reach all devices, in this case you can manually check for the software update from Settings menu.

Releasing the regular security patch is good one, but the Moto Z2 Play owners are expecting the android oreo update. Until now there is no word about the exact release date of this oreo firmware for Indian models.
