Moto Z2 Force on T-Mobile now upgrading to Android 8.0 Oreo

Just a week ago, Motorola upgraded the Verizon powered Moto Z2 Force handset to Android 8.0 Oreo in USA. Now the company has expanded the Oreo roll out to T-Mobile version of Moto Z2 Force Edition. It has been confirmed through the thread on reddit forum. They’ve also updated the screenshot that shows the improved battery life in android oreo. It also reveals the new build number for Moto Z2 Force as OCX27.

However, the t-mobile carrier didn’t make any official announcement about this firmware release. But the oreo update is available to download for selected users which means the roll out is happening in phases. Yes, the users are receiving this software update in regular OTA. Unfortunately we didn’t know the exact download size of this major update.

The oreo for moto z2 force brings PIP mode, Autofill forms, notifications dots, instant apps, improved booting speed, adaptive icons and more. Soon the t-mobile carrier will officially announce the Android Oreo roll out for Moto Z2 Force Edition in U.S.
