Moto Z2 Force Edition goes official and up for preorder in U.S

After several leaks and rumors, Lenovo’s Moto brand has unveiled Moto Z2 Force Edition flagship smartphone. As scheduled earlier they have launched this handset at an event in New York. The company also reveals the release date, price and carrier availability. The z2 force edition will be compatible with U.S carrier networks like Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon.

Followed by launch this handset is up for preorder at U.S carriers, Moto official site and BestBuy. The launch price of Z2 Force in U.S is $799.99. The company planned to roll out this device in U.S on August 10. While other countries like Brazil, Europe, Africa, Mexico and The Middle East will get on late summer. T-Mobile and Sprint carriers are offering this handset under buy one get one deal i.e. grab two moto z force (2nd Gen) phones at single device price. But this offer will be available only if you buy under 24-months installment plan.

Specs of Z2 Force Edition are 5.5-inch 2K Super AMOLED (POLED) display, android 7.1.1 nougat os (stock android), aluminum body (7000 series) and dual or single sim options. The display has been covered with Moto ShatterShield unbreakable glass and also offers 4-year warranty. To deliver lag-free performance it equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 high-end chipset, 2.35 GHz octa core processor and 4GB RAM. The internal storage is also large 64GB which can be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

At back it has 12MP dual camera lens that includes 4K video recording, depth field mode, PDAF, Sony IMX386 sensor and more. Also has 5MP front camera that can shot perfect selfies. Both front and rear camera sports dual color led flash. It support fingerprint sensor that has been placed at front. Connectivity options are Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 (upgradeable to 5.0), 4G LTE with Gigabit speed, Type-C USB, Moto Mods and more. Moto has replaced the 3.5mm jack with Type-C USB to offer high quality audio on headphones.

It comes with 2730 mAh battery which is very less if we compared it with Moto Z Force (3500 mAh). The device battery support fast charging with 15W TurboPower charger. Available color options are Fine Gold, Super Black and Lunar Grey (for T-Mobile only).
