Google unveils Android 5.1 Lollipop with updated features

Google Android announced the newer version of Lollipop which called as Android 5.1. They also began to roll out new lollipop 5.1 version to smartphones and tablets. Initially it will be rolled to Google powered devices like Nexus, Android one and later it will reach to other devices on priority basis. The new version comes with newly added and improved features. The updated features are:

Quick Settings Animation – The updated version adds new animation to icons in quick settings panel. When you touch the Auto-rotate icon quick menu it will rotate the icon to Portrait with newly added animation. You can also see the WiFi and Bluetooth icons with dropdown arrows to list the wifi access point and bluetooth paired devices.

HD Voice – Google added a new feature HD voice with android 5.1 for clear and high quality voice calls. The future devices with android 5.1 lollipop will get the dual sim as built-in android feature.

Screen Pining and Interruptions – They added a refurbished Screen pinning feature which will also display a tip for first time use. Screen pin also has security feature like pattern and PIN code, with these you can maintain the privacy from other users. The interruption sliders also updated with three options None, Priority and All. The user can set the interruption time exactly or indefinitely for Priority/None option.

Clock app animation – when you select and navigating through the clock app you can see the tab icons with animations.

Device Security – Finally they also improved the device security feature with new android 5.1 lollipop. Unfortunately, when your device is lost or stolen by other people, don’t worry about the data the new feature will protect your. The feature will protect your personal data from thief even if they are resetting your mobile. To unlock the mobile the user need to provide the Google account details.
