Motorola Droid Turbo 2 receives Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Verizon wireless carrier has begins to roll out the latest android 6.0 marshmallow software update for Motorola Droid Turbo 2 smartphone. This firmware update will includes new features, enhanced device performance, bug fixes and latest android security patches. Verizon will roll out the two parts of software update, the first firmware update will carry the version number SU1A: 23.31.24. The second firmware will update the droid turbo 2 handset to android marshmallow with version number SU1B Reg 3: 24.14.10. 

The marshmallow update for droid turbo 2 mobile will add new features like doze mode, google now on tap, app standby, app permissions, app links, expandable storage, Do not disturb, volume controls, direct share, replaced ambient display with moto display, attentive display and enhanced moto assist. Verizon listed the detailed changes and enhancements at the official support page of Droid Turbo 2.

From today Verizon will send the update notification for droid turbo 2 handset users. If the user didn’t get the alert for update, check it manually or just wait for the official notification. The software update requires wifi connectivity to download and install the update file.
