Android Nougat Update For Moto G4 Play

Finally the company has started to push the Nougat update for G4 Play owners. The firmware update is now available for ‘retbr’ channel i.e. Brazil units. It has been confirmed by the Reddit user who shared the updated device screenshot on this forum. Some of the highlighted features in nougat os are multi window, notification controls, customizable quick settings icons, doze mode and more.

It also updates the security patch level of this device to November 1 2017. Probably Motorola will push the software updates through OTA. The users can download this major OTA update using WiFi or Mobile data. Motorola has already affirmed the Nougat will be last update for Moto G4 Play which means you can’t taste the Android Oreo version.
