Today Meizu mobiles officially launched the new entry level smartphone Meizu M2, successor of Meizu M1 at a launch event in China. It can also be called as mini version of M2 note. The smartphone has hybrid dual sim technology which will use sim 2 slot as microSD card slot. It runs on Flyme 4.5 OS based on android 5.1 lollipop, quad core processor, 2GB RAM and mediatek 64-bit chipset. It has 13MP back camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. The rear camera lens has corning gorilla glass 3 protection to prevent from scratch. It equipped with 2500 mAh battery capacity and provides 10 Hrs of HD video playback time.
Meizu M2 is now up for preorder in China for 599 chinese Yuan or $96. Meizu will roll out this device in china from August 3. It is available in four optional colors blue, grey, white and pink. There is no announcement about global release of this device.
