LG V30 Android 8.0 Oreo stable version released

Last month, LG has tested the Android 8.0 Oreo beta version on LG V30/V30+ handset via LG OS Preview program in Korea. Today the manufacturer has started to push final and stable version of Android Oreo upgrade for V30 and V30 Plus devices. Many users have received the update prompt on their devices and also started to upgrade.

As per the screenshot, the android oreo os update will be available for download via OTA. This is a major software update so the download file weighs in 1411.90 MB (around 1.4 GB). This firmware upgrade brings several new features like picture in picture mode, battery usage optimization, fast boot, improvements in notification, tweaks in settings menu, revamped notification badge icon and more.

 Users can download this Oreo update in two methods – OTA and LG Bridge for PC. If you prefer OTA method, you need to connect your device to Wifi and wait for the automatic update notification. Once available you can download and install it on your device. For second method the user must install the LG Bridge software on their PC. Once the setup is ready, connect your handset to PC with usb data cable and download the update file via LG Bridge.
