Gionee M2017 officially announced with 7000 mAh battery

Gionee manufacturer has unveiled new high-end premium smartphone in China under its M Series. The new mobile will be called as Gionee M2017. It’s also up for preorder in China through Gionee official store. It will be available in two storage variants 128GB and 256GB. But the 256GB storage model is exclusive for special edition Italian alligator leather back variant.

The launch price of 128GB and 256GB versions in China will be 6999 yuan (Rs. 68,440) and 16999 yuan (Rs.1,66,230). This is the first costlier smartphone from Gionee that launched for this price range. The exact release date and global launch of this device didn’t reveal for now.

The M2017 sports 5.7-inch 2K AMOLED display which protected with sapphire crystal glass. It also features curved edge display at both sides. Unlikely they have used Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 mid-range chipset and 1.95 GHz octa core processor. But at this price range we expected Qualcomm Snapdragon 820/821 high-end chipset. Both 128GB and 256GB models equipped with 6GB RAM. It has dual back camera 12MP + 13MP with 4K video recording and 8Mp front camera for selfies.

It also has highly secured fingerprint sensor which placed at the front side. Other preloaded features are Wifi, dual sim card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Type-C USB, OTG with reverse charging and more options. It packed with 7000 mAh dual cell battery and support 24W Quick charge 3.0 technology. The available colors are black and gold.
