Still few days are left for the November end, so popular mobile brands are pushing the latest security patch for their handsets. Now LG has joined this line up by rolling out the November patch for G6 and V20. However this update is available for Verizon powered LG G6 and V20. Currently the V20 handset is getting the November patch in the software version VS99518A.
From tomorrow onwards, they’ll push this security update to LG G6. If you look at G6 security patch it remains July month which means it will be the first software update since its launch. Even they’ve released the regular security patches for LG V20 every month.
Probably the software update will be released through OTA. If you got the automatic update then download it & follow the installation process. To initiate the update from user side go to Settings > About Phone > Software updates. Suppose if you’re in roaming you need to connect your handset to wifi to receive the software update.
We strongly recommend the users to free up some storage to avoid low memory error. On tomorrow they’ve scheduled to release the November patch more devices like Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z Play Droid Edition, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
