Verizon carrier has started to push new security patch update for Samsung devices - Galaxy S5, Note 4 and Note Edge. It will apply the latest security firmware on all devices. However the carrier didn’t specify which month patch will be installed; probably it may be the July month patch. According to verizon support page, the software update for Note 4, Note Edge and S5 will come as N910VVRS2CQE1, N915VVRUU2CQF2 and G900VVRUU2DQF2.
Also they have released the fixes for the following bugs:
Rectified ring-back tone issue to non-verizon phone calls
Now you can make calls to non-verizon customers without any issue
The above mentioned bug fixes are common for all the three handsets. Verizon is now sending this firmware update through regular OTA. It may take some time to hit all devices because of batch-wise roll out. If you can’t wait for automatic OTA update then try to invoke manually from Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for updates.
