It seems like Samsung has started to push Android Nougat update for its last year model Galaxy J7 (2016). The report suggests the software update is now live in Russia and available for selected number of users only. This means they have sending out this update in stages and take some time to hit all devices.
The user who updated his device to nougat has shared a screenshot on forums. According to that image, the nougat for J7 (2016) arrives in the version J710FXXU3AQD4. The size of the OTA update also weighs in large 970 MB. The nougat firmware for J7 (2016) includes August security patch, split screen, new UX, improved notification controls, editable quick settings icons, enhanced doze mode, data saver mode and more.
After waiting for a long time Samsung present this update as a surprise perk for Galaxy J7 (2016) users. If you’re willing to update your device android version then go to Settings menu and check for software update. Before checking for update you want to manage the battery level above 50 percent and also use recommended data connection to avoid errors.
