Finally Motorola has started to roll out Blueborne security patch for Moto Z Play. This update is now available in the following regions – India, Brazil and Hong Kong. They’ve also affirmed the eligible software channels like retin, retbr and retapac. We’ve also got the update screenshot of Moto Z Play.
According to the image, the latest software update includes September 1 android security patch, stability improvements in boot-up and also enhances Moto 360 stability. Moto Z Play users will receive this firmware in new version NPN26.118-22-2. It also weighs in 70.2 MB and can be downloaded with wifi or mobile data.
As you know the company will roll out this software update via OTA in phases. So it may take some time to reach all devices. To know whether the update is available in your region or not go to Settings > About Phone > System updates. This manual update checking will prompt if the OTA is available for your device. Otherwise you need to wait for the official OTA roll out.
