Galaxy S8 and S8+ getting Android Pay update in Verizon and T-Mobile

New update started to knock Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus handsets on Verizon and T-Mobile. This update brings Android Pay support and improvements in Bixby button. Both verizon and t-mobile owners will receive the firmware as G950USQU1AQEF (Galaxy S8) and G955USQU1AQEF (Galaxy S8+).

S8 and S8+ Android Pay Update

For Android Pay the users want to add their debit, credit, loyalty and gift cards for secured shopping. It also updates the Bixby Home that enables easy access to Bixby Vision & Reminder. The Bixby also combines your personal experiences to single Samsung account ID.

For verizon powered S8 and S8+ the update will fix the following bugs in visual voicemail app, Samsung Notes crash and Bluetooth disconnection with Gear S3 smartwatch. It will also optimize the WiFi calling performance. T-Mobile confirmed the software update for S8 and S8+ will weighs in 379.64 MB and 141.75 MB.

S8 and S8+ Bixby Update
