Essential Phone now getting October patch and bug fix update

As scheduled, Essential brand has released a new firmware update for its flagship phone Essential PH-1. This update includes security patches, some enhancements and bug fixes for this device. According to that image, the latest update for essential phone will arrive with the build number NMJ20D. This update weighs in small size 74.8MB. Following are the list of bug fixes and enhancements that are included in this update.

  • Fix for KRACK WPA2 vulnerability

  • Improves the touch scrolling performance

  • Adds gesture support to Fingerprint (access notifications by swiping the fingerprint key)
