BlackBerry android fans it’s your turn to receive the July month android security patch update. It has been confirmed by the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) on their twitter page. The roll out has also started to hit the blackberry powered android smartphones. Currently the update is available to download for Priv owners.
The size of the update file will weigh in 14MB. If you’ve skipped the previous update (june patch) then the download size will be 127.5MB. It will update the android security patch level of this device to July 1 2017. Still the firmware update didn’t reach for the following handsets – Keyone, DTEK50 and DTEK60.
Notice the security update is available for the users who grab it from official BlackBerry Shop. Other retailers and carriers will also release this patch update in the upcoming weeks. The brand also published the list of vulnerabilities and its security bulletins on their support page.
