Lenovo powered Motorola has started to seed new software update for Moto M users in India. This firmware will bump the android version of this handset to Nougat 7.0. At launch it pre-installed with android 6.0.1 marshmallow os. The nougat update for Moto M will carry the new software version XT1663_S356_170621_ROW. The download size of this firmware comes in huge 1499 MB.
The company simply mentioned it will add the Duo video calling app and update the os to nougat. That’s all other features are not specified in the changelog. But we already know about nougat features like multi window, data saver, enhanced battery saver, editable quick settings icons, advanced notification controls, updated emojis and more.
Along with this we can also expect security patch update and performance optimization for this device. The update is already live in India and more number of users updated their device to latest version. To install this update on your handset connect to wifi network and check for software update from Settings menu.
