Vivo X9s and X9s Plus officially unveiled with dual selfie camera

As scheduled earlier, Vivo has debuted two new dual selfie camera smartphones X9s and X9s Plus. These two are the successor versions of X9 and X9 Plus which was released in 2016. Compared to its predecessor, the new arrivals sports some similar hardware features. From the name X9s and X9s Plus we can say both will have identical specs but differs in display size. Vivo revealed the price and exact launch of both handsets for China.

The brand scheduled to release the vivo x9s on July 20 for the price of 2698 yuan (Rs.25,675). The official mall confirms the registrations for this device will start from July 14. Last one the x9s plus variant will roll out in China for 2998 yuan (Rs.28,530). From July 6 – July 11 the registrations will open for this handset at vivo official mall. Another popular retailer JD.com specified the release date as July 8.

Vivo X9s features 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD (1080p) display while the X9s Plus comes with upgraded 5.85-inch AMOLED Full HD display. Talking about performance, the X9s sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and octa core processor. But the X9s plus have Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset and same octa core processor. Battery capacity of x9s is 3320 mAh and for x9s plus it will be in 4015 mAh.

Apart from these changes other features are common for both models – android7.1 nougat os (Funtouch OS 3.1), dual sim slot, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, fingerprint sensor, 16MP main camera, 20MP + 5MP dual front camera lens, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Hi-Fi audio and more. Both handsets will not support microSD card. Color options are also same black, gold and rose gold.
