AT&T rolled out Android 4.1.2 Jellybean update for Pantech Flex

On 21st June US Carrier AT&T has announced Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Pantech Flex. AT&T and Pantech released the Pantech Flex with Android Ice Cream Sandwich Operating system on September 2012. Ten months after the launch AT&T has rolled out Over the Air (OTA) update. The update provides the Google Now, Expandable Notifications, Google Voice, and AT & T Drive Mode.

The update includes the AT&T Drive Mode app. That is specially designed for the users to help when they driving. Notification Bar also provides the easy access for the return of calls, sending and scanning multiple emails and sharing photos directly from your notification panel. 

The update improves all the functions of the smartphone faster, smoother and smarter. The update brings lot of features to the phone like Google Now which will allows users to automatically receive information based on the user interests, activities and habits, including weather, sports, shopping, restaurant  reservations, airline and hotel itineraries, package tracking.

The update adds accessibility plug-ins to the smartphone that enable external Braille input and output devices via USB, Bluetooth and Gesture modes. This is especially for the visually impaired users to touch and swipe gestures in combination with speech output.

To receive the update the user has to wait until you receive the text message alerting you that the update is available for download.  After that follow the instructions to install the update.
