Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i are now official in India

Earlier this July, Huawei has unveiled two new smartphones Nova 3 and Nova 3i in Chinese market and also available to buy in this region. Today the manufacturer has expanded the availability of these Nova series handsets to India through a live event in Delhi. The major highlight of these smartphones are 3D Qmoji (like iphone animoji). Both handsets will launch in India as amazon exclusive.

The high-end Nova 3 device will be available to buy from August 23 and the launch price is Rs. 34,999 (6GB + 128GB). The mid-range Nova 3i release date scheduled in India on August 7 and the buy price is Rs. 20,990 (4GB + 128GB). From today (2PM) onwards the amazon will open the pre-booking for these devices. Available color options are black and irish purple.

Specs:

Talking about specs, both Nova 3 & Nova 3i handsets are carries similar design, but it differs in some major key features like memory, chipset, camera and battery. Lets discuss the specs in detail to know more about these devices.

Both handsets have 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080) display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio (top-notch design), runs on android 8.1 oreo os, customized by EMUI 8.2 and it has been protected by 2.5D curved glass at front & back. Coming to processor, the nova 3 device has Kirin 970 high-end chipset and octa core processor while the nova 3i equipped with new Kirin 710 chipset and octa core processor.

In India the Nova 3 device will launch with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, but the Nova 3i comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both handsets have dual hybrid sim slot, so you can either use dual sim or single sim + microSD card (up to 256GB).

Coming to camera, the nova 3 houses 16MP + 24MP AI dual rear cameras which support 4K video recording. While the nova 3i rear cameras has been downgraded to 16MP + 2MP (AI dual cameras) which can capable to record 1080p videos. The front camera is common for both mobiles 24MP + 2MP dual cameras. It has all new 3D Qmoji (like Animoji) feature that allows you to save your face expressions with built-in 3D Qmojis.

The nova 3 packed with 3750 mAh battery and it supports 9V/2A fast charging technology. But the nova 3i fueled with 3340 mAh downgraded battery and it supports 5V/2A regular charging technology.

Other identical features of both devices are – Fingerprint sensor, Face unlock, WiFi, Bluetooth, Type-C USB (micro USB for nova 3i), Dual 4G VoLTE and so on.
