Honor Play officially unveiled in India, price starts from Rs.19,999

As scheduled, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has unveiled new smartphone in India through a live streaming event. This device will be called as Honor Play, which was released in China on June 2018. In India the Honor Play device will launch as amazon exclusive and also confirmed the sale will start from today 4PM onwards. Huawei has revealed the buy price of this handset as Rs.19,999 for 4GB + 64GB and Rs.23,999 for 6GB + 64GB. Available color options are black and blue.

Specs:

The honor play features 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080) display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio (top notch design) and front side has been covered by 2.5D curved gorilla glass. It will be pre-installed with android 8.1 oreo os,  customized by EMUI 8.2. Performance wise, it sports Huawei’s Kirin 970 chipset (AI), 2.36 octa core processor and to boost up the gaming performance they’ve used GPU Turbo technology.

It arrives in two RAM variants 4GB/6GB and the storage for both variants are 64GB  (UFS 2.1). Further this device support hybrid dual sim slot, so you can either use dual sim or single sim + microSD card (256GB).

At back this handset has 16MP + 2MP dual cameras which includes 4K video recording, EIS sensor, AI camera, AR stickers, PDAF sensor, 3D dynamic panorama and so on. Moving to front, it has 16MP selfie camera that features 3D portrait lightning, AI Portrait mode, AR Mode, Face Unlock and more.

Other connectivity features are fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual 4G VoLTE, Type-C USB, Huawei Histen Audio, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and more. It packed with 3750 mAh non-removable battery  which compatible with 9V/2A fast charging technology.
